The Cocopah Tribal Council has made the decision to temporarily suspend gaming operations at Cocopah Casino to protect the safety and well being of our employees, our guests, and the community. The health and safety of our employees, our guests and all of the surrounding community is of utmost importance and we make this decision in the best interest of our entire community.
While there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 of our employees, guests or tribal community, the Cocopah Tribal Council, in solidarity with our sister tribes in the state of Arizona, and the local community, we find that temporarily suspending gaming is in the best interest of not only the Tribal membership but all of our surrounding communities. We believe that this rapidly evolving crises demands strong proactive measures in order to mitigate risk and prevent further exposure.
Effective March 24, 2020, at 2:00 am the Cocopah Casino will temporarily close the Cocopah Casino’s the gaming operation; the hotel, the gift shop will remain open and the Triple 777 will be open for take-out. In addition to closing gaming operations, we have also closed Wild River Entertainment Center as of March 22, 2020 12:00 am.
These measures will remain in effect until such time the Tribal Council determines, that it is safe to resume regular operations.
